Dear brothers and sisters, wish you all a very happy Vishu As we all know, the auspicious day of Vishu falls on the first day of Malayalam month Medam. Sun starts its movement to Meda Raasi on this day and as the name indicates, Vishu stands for equal duration of day and night. The mythology says as usual, the victory of good over the evil. The most prominent being the elimination of the demon Narakasur by lord Krishna. Whatever be the tale, it is one of the most important festivals of Malayalees. Celebration this time is not possible but let us not miss the traditional Vishukkani, Vishu kaineettam and the feast.
